This weekend was amazing!!

Well to start off the busy weekend i got together with some of my friends and went to dinner and then to see "Maid of Honor".  I liked the movie!! It was the typical chick flick!!  then sat i set up for Jr. high service in the morning. after that i helped set up and run the blues on the field concert thing.  Well i had to leave that just a tad bit early to go to a wonderful concert!!!  Yes that is right i went to see Dream Theater!! Honestly i have been to a lot of concerts and this was by far one of the best i have ever seen!! those guys are so freakin talented!!

I could go on and on about the concert!! I felt bad for the first 3 bands!! Even though it is super cool that the bands get to play with Dream Theater it has to be the hardest band to open for cause you know going into it you are going to look bad once the headliner hits the stage!!

well yesterday was also a great day!! It started out hanging out with Jr. High kids and then evolved into going to Fresno and hanging out with people my age!! I had a great time in fresno!! Thank you Amy for the invite you are amazing!! I did miss all my friends at xrds but i should be back next week!! So be prepared!!

Friends?

Is it mean or rude to just invite some friends and not all?
What about saying NO when you are invited to go somewhere or do something?

I think the answer to both questions is NO?

Sometimes you need a break from big groups! It is not like just cause you asked a couple friends and not all your friends that you like certain friends better!! It is sometimes easier to do things with a smaller group of people.  There is always something to do that anyone and everyone is invited to.

Something i really struggle with is saying No when people invite me somewhere!! I never feel like it would be rude to say no.  I just love hanging out with people. I am very much a people person.  I feel that the group of people i have hung out with lately feels that everyone always  needs to be there and will go as far as convincing  or at least trying to convince people that are not interested into hanging out.  I am guilty of this myself!!

I love my friends. I love being around them!  One thing I personally am realizing is you need time to yourself also! You need time in smaller groups of people to build a genuine relationships!!  The fact is people act different in big groups than they do when you hang out with just a couple people!! How are you supposed to build a true friendship and trust a person if you don't know the real them!!

Some may say you need to be yourself all the time and i agree!!  In big groups sometimes you limit your character as a person so that you don't offend the people that you are hanging out with! Some people they are shy in big groups! There are a million + reasons why people are a little different in a big group!
